1. Be between the ages of 14 to 24 (both inclusive)

2. Be an active member of USA Taekwondo for at least 1 year prior

3. Be a competitor at the USAT-MAC Expo

4. Be a First Degree Black Belt of higher

• Meet the standards in each of the major elements:
• High academic achievement - "B" average or above in school 
• Martial Arts excellence in state, regional and national level 
• Demonstrated community involvement 
• Display personal attributes of the Award's namesake (dedication, perseverance, humility, care and concern for others, and artistic endeavors such as music, acting, writing, etc.)
• Artistic accomplishments are considered a plus

• Grade trascripts for last semester and previous semesters
• Medal placements in competition
• Itemized and verified community projects
• Letters of reference supporting personal attributes

7. Application must be submitted with all requested information, or in own format with requested information by the deadline date of October 1st of the current year to: Sr. Grandmaster Joon P. Choi ~ 1349 Brice Road ~ Reynoldsburg, OH 43038. Application shall be made online

8. Nominator must include contact information and be accessible to Awards Committed during the evaluation and selection process.
