NOTES regarding Eligibility & Requirements for Promotion and Certification
Qualifications - applicant must be
• Kukkiwon Certified and meeting age limit and training requirement;
OR
• a Certificate holder from other recognized organization(s) and be actively teaching and practicing Taekwondo
OR
• a Leader of an organization which is qualified to recommend that organization’s members for Dan Rank Testing
Requirements - applicant must
Meet minimum Age and Time-in-Grade Requirements (see below)
Present acceptable Credentials and Documentation of personal Martial Arts History and Rank
Participate in Poomsae Seminar
Be Properly Recomended or Approved by USAT-MAC President following credential review
Perform physical and written test requirements
8th & 9th Dan Special Test – NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

Skip Dan Fees
Total Fee equals fee for each Dan applied for. The highest fee charged will be the total of the three (3) highest Dan for which application is made.
Examples:
Skip 1st to 3rd Dan: Fee equals $90 + $120 = $210
Skip 1st to 4th Dan: Fee equals $90 + $120 + $150 = $360
Application Procedure:
Complete application.
Submit payment for 1 Dan higher than current rank.
If application for Skip Dan is approved, an electronic invoice will be sent for Balance of Dan Test Fee.
